website updates
i fucked up a small update on my site (nothing serious, but a few things stopped working) and my previous backup was too outdated to i had to rush with things. that taught me to actually set up git locally and stop being dumb about things tee-hee.
i hate so much how hard it is to find a decent tutorial for anything programming that actually works if you’re a beginner. i feel like most assume previous knowledge and doesn’t even bother to name said previous knowledge, making it super complicated to actually understand what i need to do anything. finding the correct tutorial or chain of tutorials is always harder than actually doing the thing i want.

is it rude to go bother people with “hey you have my old art/old link on your website”? i should ask my website-less friends if they want a spot as well……
art dump page and fanart/gifts page should be the immediate next thing i’m gonna be working on, as well as bringing the free walpapers (and new freebies!) back online. bringing media diary is also something that is high priority for me but it’s a bit more complicated so i’m not sure when i’ll get around to that exactly.
last movie night we watched ‘I, Robot (2004)’ and oh boy that sent me on a spiral, so i started a small fiction writing project that i’m a bit afraid will be taken too seriously but who fucking cares.
i’m not sure how to pair fiction writing projects along with more grounded blog/opinion posts either…… it’s always such a challenge to figure shit out.
been listening to a lot of homestuck music, trying to figure out what exactly i want for the website theme music. wondering either or not i should temporarily have my old bgm here, tho i don’t think it fits the vibe as much.
also i really need to draw something to display on the right empty side of the site. not sure what nyaaaaaaa
